My Piggies are Raw!

My poor piggies are raw! It is from when Mark and I went to Lagoon and I walked around the park all day with wet shoes on from the rides. But if I had to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat. It just sucks being a diabetic, because it will be months before these babies are healed! Ouch!

I would be so ungrateful if I didn't take a minute and pay tribute to all of the lives that were lost 7 years ago today. The tragedy that happened that day took so many innocent lives. We are so blessed to be alive and to live in a land where there is freedom. I bow my head to those heroes that died and also to the ones that saved lives. Even dogs rescued people and to me they are also true heroes.

Yesterday was Luke's bday. He got shoes, shirts and some games. We are giving trees to each other for our bdays this year since we are in the new house with no yard.

Karwin is coming home on Sunday! Wahoo! It seems like he has been in Iraq for years now! We have missed him so much and are so glad he is finally going to be home again with his cute family. Hayden and Addison will be so excited to see their Dad! And Suzanne will be grateful to have her hero home too.

I haven't posted much lately because my time has been consumed with homework that is going so slow. I am so frustrated by this memory loss. It doesn't get along with homework very well, but we just take it one day at a time.

And last but not least my cute friend Michelle had surgery this week and I want to tell her how much I love her and am truly blessed to have such a special friend! I hope she has a speedy recovery and is back on her feet in no time!

Gracie is just so cute. I can't get enough of her! Her are her latest photos! Enjoy!

Your toes look so sore! OUCH! I also thought a lot about all the people that died 7 years ago. I don't think I will ever forget that horrible day! Your girl is so cute and she looks so happy!!

Her pics are so cute! Have you taken her yet to get studio shots? Your feet are terrible, will they get better? You should have brought an extra pair of shoes! Love Ya hope they are better soon! I also don't think getting older helps the ole memory much, I have a much harder time now than I ever have. You think you will never forget things and them one day you do! Good luck with homework!

Great blog! I really debated putting a couple of posts on today...one for Sept 11th. Braxton kept going to the front window and telling me there was a flag out there. The scouts put flags up for all of our holidays. It always makes me feel good to see the flag in our front yard. I could have a flag pole out there and love it.
Good luck with those feet...what did you do?

Having the chance to live in New York for a year really made Sept. 11th hit home for me. I used to walk by the twin towers all the time when we would drive into the city. That was such a tragic day and one that I am glad is still fresh in the minds of people.
Gracie is so cute. I can totally see your family in her. She is a doll.
I hope you feel a lot better soon. Take care.
