Family, Freebies & Food...

I am so officially behind on blogging! I have been sitting here for the past 20 minutes trying to get my pictures to load off the card and for some reason it won't, so here is yet another post with no pics. Sorry! I tried!

Suz and the kids were up here tonight and we got to see them and spend some time with them which is always awesome. Eldon took us to Hamilton's and it was the first time I had ever been there! Gracie thought she needed to flirt with the waitor the whole time which was pretty cute lol. Hayden and Addison are growing up so fast and they are so cute. Wish we got to see more of them! Gracie only has 4 cousins and the other 2 live in Salt Lake and we don't get to see much of them either!

In the mail today I received a coupon for free Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls and then they sent me 10 additional 1.25 off coupons for them which I thought was awesome. How sad is that, that something like that excites me so much lol. I even took a pic of the coupons to share with you, but the dang pics won't load!

Gracie has to have her 15 month shots on Monday which I am dreading! But I have to just think of my cute friend's nephew that is having major brain surgery and worrying over shots is sooo silly. I do wish Ethan the best of luck on Thursday. He sure has been in my thoughts and prayers lately.

I have been addicted to 2 wonderful food blogs that you all have to check out. The links to them are on the left side of the screen. The first one is Our Best Bites. My cute little friend Kate Randle and her friend Sara are geniuses! I love their recipes and all the pics they put on their blog so I can follow the recipe better. This week they are doing Halloween treats and can I just say YUM! Friday there is even a give away, so check it out! My other new fav is called Your Home Based Mom. Great recipes! I just tried the Cafe Rio sweet pork burritos and they turned out soooo good. The lady that runs the website is a doll! She posted a very evil recipe that I made and was instantly addicted to which is horrible for me being diabetic, but I should rename it: Death for a diabetic, by Caramel Apple Dip. It involves 1 block of softened cream cheese (which I am not a big fan of, but in this case- Yum!), 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 1/4 c. white sugar and a Tablespoon of Vanilla. Right before you are ready to serve it, cut up your apples and then add 2/3 a bag of Heath or Skor bits too the dip, mix and inhale. Oh my heck it is delicious! Great for a party or just to gain 10 pounds. I highly recommend!

Sorry for talking your ear off tonight, I promise to post pics soon. Hope everyone's Halloween is "Spooktacular"! Love you!

Thanks Lisa. Travis & Mary are in Detroit now meeting with the doctors this morning. Surgery is scheduled for early tomorrow morning, and we are all hoping for the absolute best outcome. They really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers from everyone...friends & strangers included that are praying for little E. I'll let you know how it all turns out.

Lisa, Fun blog!! Gracie's eyes are amazing! I know about the moose, poor thing. Does your house have a red door? I was driving to Logan and saw it and wondered. We still need to get together for lunch. What about next week?

I too get that excited over a deal. Way to go. James thinks I get a little freakish about the whole coupon deal. I'll take things back or get refunds when there's a mistake. In fact, I have two I missed here on my counter...I'll take back in when I go for something else and have them fix it.
I also have to tell you how excited I was to mail in $15 worth of rebates. I hope to see the $$$ soon.
Thanks for the new blogs to check out. I'm part of a dinner group...so new things are always fun.
