JOURNEY, HEART & CHEAP TRICK!!!!!!!

Last night was one the best nights of my life! I can't stop thinking about it! Luke and I went on a date to the Journey concert while my cute parents watched Gracie. We couldn't of had better seats. We were right next to the stage and I got guitar pics, I even got sweat dripping on me from the singers we were so close! I don't know how many of you are Journey fans, but Steve Perry got vocal cord cancer years and years ago and was replaced several times. Last time they came, Jeff Scott Soto was the lead singer and he was amazing. Not sure what happened to him, but he has been replaced by a man named Arnel Pineda and he has the best voice. He sounded so much like Steve Perry and boy was it an experience. I was so excited all day yesterday because I knew we would be making a wonderful memory that I will always remember. Cheap Trick was good, they are aging quickly though... Ann Wilson is larger than life now, but still has an amazing voice. Her sister Nancy Wilson was sooo great. She sings just as great as Ann. She kept smiling at us and was just a cutie! Then it was time for the much anticipated Journey! Out they came and words can't even describe my adrenaline rush. Luke and I were going crazy! They would come and sing right to us. After all of these years, they have not gone down hill at all, if anything, they are still climbing upwards! I just put a song on my playlist called "After All These Years," which they dedicated to the crowd for sticking with them all this time. It is so beautiful. So take a moment and listen to the words. Such a memorable evening to share with not only Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick, but my best friend! I love you Luke! P.S. To all my hospital friends, the piano/guitar player for Journey in the white tank top is Brian Nelson's twin! I think he might work on the side for Journey!

My sister went to this concert and said it was great. She mostly went for Heart, but I think she enjoyed it all. You guys have had an eventful few weeks. I hope you continue to enjoy your Summer.

Man, that sounds so fun. I love concerts. I love Heart! There are not too many singers out there these days that have voices like the Wilson's. I am so jealous. I think concerts are as close as us Mormons can get to a high, if you know what I mean :-)

Those are some awesome seats! How did you score those babies!!? Looked like it was very fun, and I wish I could have zoomed in alittle closer to see the guy that looks like Brian. That is too funny.

Sounds like fun. Thanks for still blogging in the summer. Everyone else seems to busy. It's nice to know what is going on in the world. I don't know those bands too good. Were more into Hannah Montana and the Jonas Bros. here!

That's sweet! Take me next time would ya?! I think the last concert I went to was the Bryan White one with you and Luke and Jeremy before he died. So, so sad. Tell me again why I wanted to go back to Tyler instead of dating Jer?????!!!!!! I was an idiot. Anyway, we need to do stuff like that again.
Nice pictures--where was the concert at?
Now that I think about it..I WAS with Jeremy right? Now I'm second guessing and thinking maybe it was Adam....

I am so jealous!! I wanted to go to that concert so bad, but we were going to be out of town. I glad you had fun though.
I was excited when I ran into you at the store a couple weeks ago. You look great and I can't believe how big miss Gracie is getting. We need to get together soon.

What a great time it sounds like oyu had. I remember us belting out to Heart and Journey in our slightly younger years. We've been debating about buying the new Journey album, and I think you won me over!
