First and foremost, I wanted to pay tribute to our Prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley who is now with his cute wife again. What a reunion they are having! I would love to be there just to witness that! He truly has touched my life in so many ways and I can't wait for the day that I can actually meet that special man. A man that can say he lived a life without any regrets. I sure wish I could say that. He is such a great example to me and I need to go and get a picture of him to hang in my new home. I want Gracie to be able to see him all the time. Such an inspiration to us all.
Here it is the last day of January and I feel like we just barely started the month! I have been out of commission this past week. I caught the crud bug that started out with a sore throat that turned into a nasty, nasty head cold that made me want to crawl in a hole and die. Gracie had to have her 6 month shots on Tuesday which was horrible and she got so sick after. Her temperature got up to 103.5 and I was getting panicked so I called the on call doc that night which luckily was her doc and he had me double up on some medicine which broke the fever. She just hasn't been herself and I hate that. Her cute little thighs are all brusied. I hate those dang shots. She never gets a fever like that after shots but this time she had a flu shot, and I think that did it to her. SO I am anti flu shot. I have had them before and I always get sick! The night of all this drama I got the throw-ups and of course Luke sleeps through everything so I would puke, hold Gracie to calm her down every hour, just so exhausting. Men have no clue!!!!!!!!!
I started my medical transcription class back up. It is nice because I can go at my own pace. It is so sad how much information I can't remember after having those strokes. So I basically have to start over from the beginning which is so frusturating since I was half done!
The wind has been unbelievable out here today. The drifts are so bad! I don't know if Luke will even make it up the driveway after work tonight. I didn't even take Millie and Daisy outside to their house tonight because it is all drifted over! They are in here curled up in a ball next to me. So cute!
I hope you are all staying happy, healthy and warm!!!! I am hoping I am on the downside of this nasty cold, but with diabetes and a pathetic immune system, it takes me 10 times longer than anyone to get over something! Grrrr! I am off to try and catch some sleep! Night!

Oh, that's no fun to be sick! Especially having to take care of little Gracie while being sick. It's so sad to get their shots. I have never given Harli a flu shot - It seems that even if people do get them they usually end up getting the flu anyway. I just don't bother and we've been fine. I hope you and Gracie get feeling better soon. Let me know if there's anything Harli and I can do for you.
Sorry about that cold. It is not fun and especially if Gracie is not herself too. I know what you mean about men and being clueless, but Jon has actually gotten better as time has gone on, so maybe there is hope for you. Well, I hope you get better soon.
Tag- you are it! ( see my blog for the twist)
I hope you and Gracie are feeling better. Sorry, you probably got the crud from me and the boys. When you are feeling better, let me know and we have you over for dinner. Hunter has been asking "when is Aunt Lisa going to join us for dinner?" We have huge snow drifts too. Diesel is the only dog that can get around easily in the back yard, but the snow is still to his belly. Jake and Charli are doing well though and make due. Now that Diesel has trampled the snow down they get around easier. Know that you are thought of often and that we love you!
