Blessings and Prayers

I would be so ungrateful if I didn't take a moment to let everyone know how much I love my little Gracie and my cute family and my dogs. Yesterday I found out one of my little guys in nursery had a seizure Saturday night that lasted for a half hour, they rushed him to the hospital and he died, but they were able to save him and life flight him to Primary Children's where he died again, but they were able to intubate him and he is now in intensive care. He is only two and such a beautiful, energetic, fun, loving little man! He sure has been in my thoughts and prayers and I can't even imagine what his cute parents are going through right now. He is so young! I know when you have a seizure that lasts that long, brain damage is always a possibility, oh I feel so helpless. So everyone, give your cute kids, dogs, cats, pets and hubbies an extra hug today and tell them how much you love them and how grateful and blessed you are to have them in your life. I love you all!

Your message is just what I need today. I'm very frustrated with my little guy. He is just so cute, but oh so into everything. My little man has decided that he won't tell us when he has to go potty...so we are always guessing. As I was getting ready today, he was playing in my closet and wearing some of my shoes. I'm sure you can guess what he did. Yep! He peed in my church shoes. It'll be a great story when he grows up, but today mom had to take a time out.
It's hard when these little guys get sick. You just want to be able to help them or go through it for them. We had a pretty scary experience with Braxton a year ago this month. He had pneumonia, but showed no signs. He woke up from a nap lifeless, but crying. They think the lack of oxygen and fever caused his little body to do what it did. You will have to keep us posted as to what happens with this little guy. He'll be in our prayers.

Oh, that is SO sad! It does make you very grateful for what you have and makes you realize how great your blessings are. I just can't even imagine what it would be like to go through a situation like that. My heart goes out to them.

Lisa. I hope everything turned out okay for your friend. I had a friend in Colorado with a very similar story, but they lost their baby on Christmas Eve. It was tragic. They never could figure out why he started to seize.

By the way...HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL! What did you do for fun? Have fun being 21! Love Ya!

That is so heart breaking. I hope he has a full recovery. There is nothing more precious than a child. If I go a day without telling them I love them or giving them hugs and kisses, It eats at me until I get to them. Sometimes I will go in thier rooms at night and just watch them. It doesn't matter if it is my oldest or youngest, I want them to know I love them dearly! Take nothing for granted!

Please keep us posted on how the little guy is doing. I'll pray for him.
